Summary:
This position will oversee the throughput of IT (Information technology) projects using portfolio management, project management, and organizational change management disciplines. As an arm of the overall governance function, incumbent is responsible for ensuring the work of the PMO (Project Management Office) adds value, is relevant to the strategy of the organization, and meets the goals set for the PMO by executive management.
Responsibilities:
* Planning, organizing, and directing all PMO activities required to enable, operate, maintain, and report on departmental projects, programs and strategic initiatives.
* Project Portfolio Management maturity across the department, tracking and reporting conformance, and showing benefits realization across DTS-oriented projects.
* Develop departmental plans, goals and objectives in accordance with applicable tribal, federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations.
* Integrate PMO processes to improve the effectiveness of the department's activities
* Apply industry best practices associated with portfolio, program, and project management and administration.
* Supervise, assign duties to, and coordinate the activities of staff to include evaluations, scheduling, disciplinary actions, hiring, training, orientation, coaching, and employee motivation.
* Host regular staff meetings in support of maintaining productive communication channels within the DTS team.
* Align vision/mission with the Oneida Nation's priorities and values. Advance customer and department activities through the adherence to 7 Generation philosophies, and continuous improvement methods.
* Achieve financial objectives by monitoring and tracking annual budget; recommend expenditures for DTS budget.
* Maintain the integrity and security of information systems.
* Keep leadership and other departments informed of status of EAP activities by attending meetings and submitting reports
* Contribute to the CIO's (Chief Information Officer) tactical and strategic planning.
* Keep abreast of modern technologies and maintain professional and technical knowledge by conducting research, attending seminars, educational workshops, classes, and conferences; reviewing professional publications and establishing/maintaining professional networks.
* Adhere to all DTS expectations with respect to work ethics and moral conduct.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
