Summary:
The Senior Organizational Development (OD) Specialist will lead complex organizational initiatives across all divisions, departments, and various business units for the Oneida Nation. This position will design and develop strategically aligned processes by implementing frameworks, methodology, and metrics necessary for effective implementation of OD constructs. The Senior OD Specialist will create standardized OD processes and will provide guidance and assist with mentoring and guiding efforts for developing OD Specialists for system continuity. The Organizational Development Specialist collaborates closely with the HR team and reports to the Learning & Development Director.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and measure the effectiveness and outcomes of initiatives and providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
* Participates in the planning, development, and implementation of the overall Organizational Development strategy.
* Develop framework for internal OD training and onboarding program for new or developing OD Specialists for system continuity.
* Conduct organizational assessments and design interventions to improve effectiveness.
* Develop and implement engagement and culture change initiatives.
* Collaborate with HR and leadership to align OD initiatives with business goals.
* Maintain operational expertise and ensure delivery of services in alignment with strategic direction.
* Design products with the user in mind to implement simple, easy to navigate and impactful processes.
* Leads high-potential leadership tracks at manager and above levels and provides one-on-one coaching to participants.
* Makes recommendations on areas of focus and plans for action; Drives the need for the Oneida Nation to take action by presenting data to management.
* Monitors results and recommends enhancements to improve overall employee engagement participation.
* Design, development and deliver training, and change adoption strategies
* Develop plans and implement strategies to address upcoming organizational changes with employees, processes, and technology. Assist with fostering employee engagement and organizational alignment through effective internal communication efforts and strategies.
* Building and maintaining solid relationships with leaders and team members, acting as a trusted advisor and change champion.
* Provide subject matter expertise and forward-thinking leadership to the Human Resources team and other Tribal leaders, and other stakeholders on the development, communication, and execution of strategic workforce plans.
* Create reporting metrics, dashboards and predictive analytics to monitor, analyze progress and effectively deliver assessment and results to organizational leaders.
* Work with the HR and other organizational leaders in the design, development, implementation, integration, and assessments of initiatives to ensure overall organizational effectiveness.
* Facilitate workshops and meetings.
* Apply change management techniques.
* Prepare or assist with reports, analysis, flowcharts, process maps, strategy plans, and other business documents.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by conducting research, attending seminars, educational workshops, classes, and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies; conferring with representatives of contracting agencies and related organizations.
* Maintain quality to meet professional standards of the organization.
