After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.


Summary:

Propose, develop, implement and manage all marketing social media/digital initiatives. Ensure alignment in messaging for government and Nation projects with brand standards, approved projects and communication plans. Defines strategies in how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic; to include defining key messages, performance indicators and implements measurement, analytics, and reporting method to gauge success. This position will also ensure effective and professional communication, resolves guest complaints, and work closely with Communication team.

Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent customer service and support for all internal and external customers of the Oneida Nation at all times and in all activities. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of the Nation. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
* Develop, maintain, and facilitate effective relationships, communication processes and activities with all Communications, Government Administration, Intergovernmental Affairs teams, and all other internal and external customers.
* Ensure established procedures and processes are utilized at all times to ensure maximum understanding and coordination is in place.
* Attend and conduct department meetings to ensure effective communications take place.
* Utilize brand and direct marketing principles including target marketing to maintain and enhance the Nation's image. a. Assist in brand compliance and monitoring.
* Coordinate and organize website content in both graphics and text form across the Nation's platforms as needed and within assigned deadlines.
* Develop supporting content material relating to the Nation's Nation Building Projects, Intergovernmental Affairs, or other related initiatives as assigned, including the development of a collateral library and reference materials.
* Maintain, manage and update the Nation's assigned webpages and social media content, overseeing quality assurance and change initiatives. Schedule postings in collaboration with overall initiatives such as Oneida Live.
* Ensure social media tools are kept up to date. Includes monitoring presence on sites such as Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and other similar sites and blogs.
* Responsible for research, knowledge and applicable laws regarding changes and advancements in social media, internet marketing and email marketing.
* Monitor and track established benchmarks and key performance indicators for measuring the impact of web and social media programs. Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results. Including but not limited to email marketing, online advertising, mobile and emerging media.
* Regularly provide feedback on insights and gained social media monitoring to Communications team, specifically to coordinate government strategies involving public education.
* Work closely with the Communications team to develop and maintain a robust website/social media content strategy.

Skills:

Essential:
* Knowledge of branding, marketing, digital media software and visual communication skills
* Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and basic math
* Ability to conduct and manage research analysis
* Skill in utilizing web and social media content
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds
* Knowledge of the Oneida Nation's governance structure and operations.
* Knowledge of developing written content for social media, websites, and other key communication collateral.
* Skill in graphics design, video editing, and understanding web design.
* Ability to represent the organization in a professional, tactful and respectful manner.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

Must be willing and able to obtain additional related education and training.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and adhere to the Nation Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

Must provide a copy of diploma/degree, license, or certification upon employment.
