SALARY: $15.00 Hourly
OPEN TO ENROLLED ONEIDA TRIBAL MEMBERS ONLY
NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK: 32 HOURS PER WEEK
INTERN DUTIES/PROJECTS
- Learn to support Desktop Services Teams in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems (60%)
- Learn to troubleshoot issues and provide technical support (20%)
- Training and Development (10%)
- could include projects depending on the field of study (10%)
- Adhere to all Tribal Personnel Policies and Procedures, Tribal Standard Operating Procedures, and Area and Program Strategic Plans and Policies.

INTERN SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/COLLEGE MAJOR
- Major in Microcomputer or closely IT related field. Other higher education fields of study may be considered.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Frequently walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and sit.
- Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level.
- A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.

- Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters. (Must sign a confidentiality statement prior to employment.)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must adhere to the Nation's Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy during employment.
- Must pass a background security check with the Oneida Nation in order to meet the Employment Eligibility Requirements, Tribal/State Compact and/or Oneida Nation Gaming Ordinance as they pertain to the position. A temporary license or Gaming License issued by the Oneida Gaming Commission is required as a condition of employment and continuing employment within the Oneida Nation's Gaming Division.
