Do you have a competitive spirit and an eye for details? Paladin Security is looking for a Proposal/Technical Writer to join our Marketing Team. Be at the forefront a rapidly growing company and drive our business development opportunities across the line.
As the Proposal/Technical Writer, you will work with our leadership team and subject matter experts (SME) across North America to deliver on RFP responses, proposals, and business development opportunities. Meticulous organizational skills and a go-getter attitude will help you excel under deadlines and thrive in a team environment. The Proposal/Technical Writer will support marketing, communications, sales, and administration on an as-needed basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead our Request for Proposal (RFP) response writing process from production to delivery including the coordination and preparation of proposal submissions and soliciting input from colleagues, where required
• Effective research strategies to identify appropriate RFPs to pursue
• Comprehensively reviewing the RFP so as to become familiar with the content and requirements contained
• Ensure high quality preparation and production of all written materials while consistently applying the Paladin Security brand and key messaging
• Assist in maintaining the core proposal content database and project profiles database
• Liaise with external support and other stakeholders to coordinate and develop proposal content
You are a great fit if you have
· A Master in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Excellent communication, copywriting and editing skills
· Strong interpersonal skills that create a positive work environment and gain the trust of your colleagues
· Are a self-starter and able to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to create visuals that assist in communicating your message
· Have strong, proven organization and project management skills
· Experience in communication and project management is considered an asset
Experience
· 3 to 5 years' proven experience in writing communications or marketing
· Bachelor's degree, diploma or equivalent in English, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing or similar, relevant field
· Master communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to work equally well with members of the executive team and general staff alike, including vendors, business partners, team members and co-workers
· Results driven with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment; while delivering on multiple, concurrent initiatives
