Overtime Method: Overtime Method is ESA
Payrate: $19.19/hour

Job Description:
Shift Console Operators are also responsible for taking calls for service and dispatching them to Patrol Guards as needed. Patrol Guards on the same shift are responsible for communicating with each other and dividing responsibilities for the day
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer and respond to calls coming into Minto Place Console via various communication systems
- Administering access passes to contractors and tenants as needed
- Keeping accurate logs related to building, compliance, and life safety systems
- Reporting any deficiencies or damage to property while keeping adequate notes
- Monitoring life safety, access control, and building maintenance systems and anyone who comes into the building after hours
- Working in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and Colliers; Health and Safety Policies and Program
- Assist with daily operations as needed/required or directed.
- Other duties as outlined by management
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an strong asset
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid/CPR - Level C certification (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
- Must have at least three (3) years of prior security experience OR hold a diploma in Police Foundations or Law and Security
- Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Must be able to handle stress and pressure and make a sound decision under duress
- Must demonstrate high attention to detail / observational awareness
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence and the ability to work productively and efficiently in a team
