Job Skills / Requirements Position: | Security Guard | Full-Time Temporary Seasonal - Victoria Park Harbour (86 S Front St.)
Site: | Victoria Park Harbout - 86 S Front St. Belleville
Hours: | Monday to Friday, 1700-0500.
Payrate: | $19.50/hour
Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Note: This is a seasonal position ending September 8, 2025 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Proactive & reactive security patrols
  • Majority of shift will be spent conducting exterior patrols
• Response to incidents
• Lock & Secure washrooms
• Ensure no unauthorized individuals are on site after 2200
• Liase with Paladin & the Marina Coordinator to ensure ongoing safety concerns/issues are resolved
• Assist boaters as necessary
• By-law parking enforcement
• Report writing and note-taking
  • Daily shift reports
• Investigate routine incidents
• Additional Duties as Assigned

Job Requirements:

• Valid Security License for Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
• Able to stand for up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Able to complete extensive patrolling of site
• English communication (oral and written) required
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
  • Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
  • Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
