We are seeking professional and reliable Industrial Security Guards to support safety and security operations at our industrial sites across North Okanagan. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working in high-compliance environments.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining strict control of all access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter the facility.
- Verifying access cards carefully and deny entry to unauthorized individuals while maintaining professionalism.
- Conducting regular patrols of the entire site to monitor for hazards, unauthorized activity, or security breaches.
- Staying highly vigilant and alert at all times, anticipating potential risks and responding proactively.
- Opening and closing access gates promptly, ensuring smooth operations without compromising security.
- Escorting contractors, workers, and visitors safely within the facility, following all security protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months experience as a guard
- Valid BC Security License
- Advance Security Training is an asset
- Intermediate/Advanced First Aid Training preferred
- BC Class 5 driver's license (clean)
- Reliable vehicle to serve as a shelter and to reach remote areas
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience with access control systems and CCTV
- Ability to pass background and site-specific clearances
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and working outdoors
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
