Description

The purpose of this internship is to gain experience and knowledge within the quality assurance team in a corporate environment in preparation for a full-time role as a Quality Assurance Specialist.

The QA intern will shadow a QA Analyst to understand the full scope of the role and learn the responsibilities and functions of quality assurance with its purpose to the company.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Test cases to verify functionality of monthly releases
  • Reporting issues on tracking systems
  • Participate in team and departmental meetings and discussions to produce a better-quality product and expedite debugging.
  • Any special projects that may be assigned by the QA Manager or Director of Software Development
  • Regular attendance as required
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Student must be on track to graduate from an accredited university, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in team environment.

Must be an attendee of the 2024 AfroTech conference in order to be a qualified candidate for this position.
