The Program Marketer Sr. will join a team dedicated to creating events focused on training, engagement and collaboration. Paycom is searching for someone who is talented and motivated to organize outstanding and unforgettable events that support the business needs. The Program Marketer Sr. should be well-organized and possess a sound knowledge of event management. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are vital in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead program marketing initiatives by working collaboratively across numerous departments within Paycom, including marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Plan and manage logistics and operations for sales new hire training events hosted at Paycom HQ, coordinating across multiple locations.
  • Responsible for end-to-end logistics including venue and vendor sourcing and management, travel bookings, onsite logistics, AV needs, registration, and deliverables for sales new hire trainings.
  • Identify and oversee creative projects related to sales new hire training events and serve as a liaison between stakeholders and other teams.
  • Provide regular project status updates via project management software.
  • Effectively communicate with event stakeholders and supporting teams by facilitating regular meetings and through written communication.
  • Create and manage project timelines for sales new hire trainings, ensuring deadlines are met and any risks or roadblocks are communicated.
  • Responsible for allocating, tracking, and applying program marketing budget.
  • Track, analyze and deliver reports on events to gauge ROI to help optimize and inform our overall program marketing strategy.
  • Identify and recommend resolutions for any project roadblocks or opportunities for efficiency related to program marketing projects.
  • Support the program marketing team through ongoing process evaluation and recommendations for adjustments.
  • Attend and staff program marketing events as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Events, Communications, Public Relations or experience in lieu of degree.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in coordinating special events, internal and external conferences, conventions, and/or tradeshows.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)
  • Previous experience in hotel contracting, vendor management, project management software, and/or training events.

Skills/Abilities:

  • 15% travel required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and be a team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project, financial and time management skills are required.
  • Service-oriented attitude, highly organized, detail focused and results driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accountable with the ability to handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously and effectively manage last-minute, urgent requests.
  • Must be able to manage external vendors always looking for maximum advantage and outcomes for Paycom.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment and track record of successful execution of multiple events with opposing priorities.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and with a team
