Description
Edit video content to be used in videos by entire Paycom organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit audiovisual content within the scope of goals, deliverables, schedule and budget.
- Strong emphasis on crafting narrative out of raw material suitable for broadcast and all digital mediums.
- Manipulate and edit footage.
- Apply music, voice-over, graphics and effects to video.
- Help organize and maintain audio and video assets.
- Open to feedback.
- Support the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects.
- Can do attitude and ability to work with others.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree (in film or similar) or equivalent years of experience in marketing and advertising.
Experience:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other industry-standard software
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 2+ years post production experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other industry-standard software
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong competency with codecs, containers and final output formats.
- Sense of visual rhythm and sense of composition and style.
- Understanding and appreciation of storytelling structure for customer testimonials and short-form ads, and how editing and motion graphics are critical components to a successful project.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and other industry-standard editing and motion graphic software.
- Strong competency with nonlinear editing systems.
- Competent with color correction and color grading.
- Comfortable managing high-level projects.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to work gracefully under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Agility in learning, with an openness to new ways of thinking and acquisition of new skills to retain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Proven strategic thinking skills and a passion for making great work.
