Branch Manager – OPS (Collision Center)

Position Summary:

At Penske, one of our core services is our ability to provide an excellent level of customer experience and satisfaction for our truck rental & leasing, contract maintenance, and repair services customers across 750 locations in the US and Canada. Penske's successful operations are driven by our regional, district, and branch location leaders.

This new role will provide leadership and drive our goal of expanding the collision business. The leader will work alongside the larger Penske organization to execute and ensure these goals are met by coordinating efforts within the district and body shop network. In this role, you will be developing new business, monitoring collision center results and redirecting efforts where necessary to affect a profitable and smooth-running center. This role will work with current customers to ensure a positive customer experience including problem resolution and any related customer activities. This position has direct responsibility for the Collision Center staff (including the Body Shop Manager) and will collaborate with District staff members on a regular basis. You will be a part of the solution to ensure our organizations competitive edge in this new and expanding market.

Qualified candidates for this role will have at least 5 years of combined sales and leadership experience including ensuring customer satisfaction. Must have prior experience with monitoring and impacting P&L, complete asset life cycle management, business development, and planning for annual business plan.

Major Responsibilities:

• Drive collision process, practice, and quality across the center that enables measurement and accountability with key focus on standardization.

• Business Development – Identify, attract, and retain new business while driving continuous customer satisfaction with existing customers.

• Talent Management - Branch associate engagement including collaboration among functions, problem resolution, & coaching and developing associates.

• Customer Experience – Satisfactory VOC scores and customer retention rates. Includes any account management activities.

• Operations Management – Ensuring that the Center meets district goals including any involvement with Fleet / Asset management and the broader corporate Collision strategy.

• Financial / P&L Management – Branch P&L performance.

• Other projects as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required. If no degree, equivalent work experience is required.

• 5 years of combined experience in sales and management is required

• Must have intermediate level of skills with the following:

-Asset Management

-Finance & P&L Management

-Talent Management

-Sales (must be familiar with deal strategy and business development)

• Experience with managing customer satisfaction is required

• Must have prior experience with monitoring and impacting P&L, complete asset life cycle management, and planning for annual business plan.

• Strong communication skills, both written & verbal are required

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
