Description

The Data Integration Manager oversees the development, implementation, and management of data-driven solutions. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, security, and seamless integration of data and reporting across various platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data integration strategy to ensure efficient and accurate data flow from diverse sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Analysts, Administrators, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Document data integration and reporting processes, configurations, and workflows to ensure comprehensive understanding and facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and troubleshoot data integration processes and reporting processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.  
  • Utilize unified reporting tools to develop predictive models and intelligent data solutions, enhancing decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Devise, develop, and deploy required data queries in response to business user needs.
  • Oversee the analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and unified reporting.
  • Manage the ingestion and conversion processes to ensure accurate and efficient data handling in the system.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies that align with organizational goals, including data categorization and stratification to support targeted analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards to visualize data analytics and communicate insights and outcomes.
  • Employ statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to create predictive models forecasting trends and outcomes relevant to operations.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of technology and data projects, ensuring each initiative delivers a positive ROI and aligns with strategic business objectives.
  • Work with infrastructure teams to define high-availability procedures and streamline the development architecture to maximize server/processor utilization.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols across all data services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in data security.   Ensure data security is maintained and data protection procedures are always adhered to.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical Bachelor's degree from a regional or national accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE).
  • A Minimum of five (5) years of experience leading technically complex projects and collaborating with colleagues at all levels.
  • At least five (5) years of experience with software development concepts, best practices, and
  • application delivery.
  • At least three (3) years of experience with programming/scripting languages, including PHP, Python, Java, HTML, CSS, and markdown.
  • At least three (3) years of experience designing solutions, leveraging native services to improve performance, reduce overhead, and manage costs
  • At least three (3) years of experience with data modeling, data modeling best practices, and concepts in both relational and non-relational data stores
  • Expertise in analytics and data analysis, reporting tools, relational databases, and database architecture
  • Prior project management experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Business
  • Analyst within a multi-functional team
  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience that meets the minimum qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • IT experience in a higher education setting.
