Summary
Job Summary: Scheduling for a busy Gastroenterology department. Answering busy phone lines. Calling patients and obtaining patient scheduling information along with patient health information in regards to the upcoming procedure. Ensuring accuracy of patient information. Answer patient questions. Data entry. Completing patient charts. Track and file test results, and reports prior to appointments. Assist throughout the Endoscopy department as needed.
Job Qualifications: Licensed RN in the state of Kansas. CPR certified. ACLS certified. PALS certified. Requires basic computer literacy within a Windows environment, including word processing functions, use of the internet, and computer-based education. Keyboarding ability required. Prior experience using Evident/Trubridge, Athena and Provation documentation software, including nursing assessments, electronic MAR with bedside barcode scanning, would be helpful but is not required. Successful candidates should be ready to use information technology in a meaningful way, in order to improve patient outcomes and ensure patient safety. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with that with your superior customer service skills. An individual who has developed strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Information: Monday thru Friday 08:00am to 4: 30pm.
