Job Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Dishwasher to join our team at Solstice Senior Living at Lee's Summit. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchen and dining areas by effectively cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This position is essential for supporting our kitchen staff and ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated places.
- Ensure the kitchen area, including floors and work areas, are kept clean and sanitized at all times.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, including dishwashers and sinks.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables according to health and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to meet the needs of high-volume service periods.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and usage of protective equipment.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by kitchen management.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and remain on your feet for long periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
