Why We Have This Role
We're looking for a pragmatic, dedicated Corporate Counsel to empower our business teams by solving real problems in a fast-moving environment. This role will focus on negotiating and drafting commercial agreements and partnering closely with internal teams, especially sales, and external partners to protect and enable the company. You'll support multiple go-to-market teams and help shape long-term legal strategies while mentoring our paralegal professionals. - Take ownership of negotiation and drafting for a variety of customer/partner vendor agreements

Things You'll Do
- Own drafting and negotiation of a range of commercial agreements, including general terms and conditions, data processing and other privacy agreements, business associate agreements, order forms, and others, working closely with sales and other teams in the company
- Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders to swiftly address legal risks and commercial needs
- Own internal relationships for certain products and industries
- Review and improve contract templates and legal playbooks to streamline workflows
- Lead efforts to educate teams on contract best practices and legal process improvements
- Coach and mentor paralegals and junior legal team members

What We're Looking For On Your Resume
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state
- 0 to 4 years of relevant transactional legal experience post-law school
- Demonstrated ownership and proactive problem-solving in contract negotiation and legal risk management
- Skilled attorney with a reputation for being collaborative, pragmatic, and a dependable team player
- Nice to have: experience at a top international law firm, a technology company in-house role, technical background, or experience handling tech transactions, interest in privacy
