- Job Requirements
- Must have: Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients, ICU experience, Positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, desire for excellence, self-motivated, good communication and people skills, ability to work in a diverse environment.
- Advanced skills needed: Ventilator management, critical care drip knowledge, thorough and accurate assessment skills, and proficient knowledge with cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems, and Don and Doff of PPE.
- Schedule Information
- Scheduling requirements: All nursing shift are twelve hours from 7 to 7; every other weekend.
- Holiday requirements
- Floating policy: Nursing staff will float to other Medical-Surgical Units in the hospital as needed with priority focus on pulling to Intensive Care Units.
- Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside hand-off reporting, completion of 'My Care Board' during hand-off report; use of AIDET with a focus on compassionate connected care.
