Position Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of AI‑powered solutions that drive intelligent decision-making, enhance knowledge automation, and enable next‑generation digital experiences. Your primary focus will be building and integrating advanced AI capabilities - LLMs, generative AI, semantic systems, and cognitive intelligence - into enterprise workflows.

Automation will complement these initiatives by helping scale AI adoption and improve operational efficiency. You will also collaborate closely with product partners and vendors to evaluate emerging technologies and shape the strategic AI roadmap.

Duties and Responsibilities

AI Solution Design & Development 

  • Build AI-driven solutions leveraging LLMs, generative AI, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and semantic search.
  • Develop intelligent agents, copilots, and cognitive workflows for reasoning, orchestration, and decision automation.
  • Implement prompting strategies, model tuning, safety layers, and performance optimizations.
  • Integrate models using modern AI engineering frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel).

End-to-End AI System Architecture

  • Design scalable backend systems and microservices for AI inference and orchestration.
  • Build production-ready pipelines for data ingestion, experimentation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Make architectural decisions to ensure robustness, security, and engineering excellence.

Intelligent Automation (Secondary Focus)

  • Identify automation opportunities that enhance AI workflows and enterprise adoption.
  • Build workflow orchestration and cognitive automation components aligned with reliability and scalability needs.
  • Integrate AI models with operational systems to deliver end-to-end value.

Cost–Benefit Analysis & Proposal Development

  • Conduct CBAs for AI and automation initiatives, including ROI, effort, and impact assessment.
  • Create technical proposals, solution blueprints, and value realization documents.
  • Provide recommendations on feasibility, risks, and prioritization for planning cycles.

Partner Product Evaluation & Collaboration

  • Evaluate AI platforms, partner offerings, and emerging technologies for ecosystem fit.
  • Perform hands-on assessments of tools, frameworks, and model providers.
  • Contribute to strategy discussions and make recommendations on technology adoption.

Collaboration & Mentoring

  • Work with business, product, and engineering teams to translate needs into AI-driven solutions.
  • Mentor engineers on AI practices, prompt design, automation strategy, and system integration.
  • Promote best practices and contribute to organizational capability building.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on AI research, foundation models, multimodal systems, and cognitive automation trends.
  • Prototype and experiment with new ideas to extend AI's impact in enterprise systems.
  • Continuously refine deployed solutions for performance, accuracy, and reliability.
Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

 

  • Strong experience building AI-powered solutions using LLMs, generative AI, NLP, and semantic technologies.
  • Expertise in backend architecture, microservices, and scalable system design.
  • Strong engineering skills in Python, .NET, or JavaScript with proficiency in APIs and integrations.
  • Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI/OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, etc.).
  • Skilled in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with:
  • Cognitive capabilities (OCR, document intelligence, classification, extraction)
  • Process mining or task mining
  • Vector databases, embeddings, semantic search
  • Workflow engines or automation frameworks
  • Product evaluation and partner ecosystem engagement
  • RPA tools like UiPath
