Description

We are looking for a Region Director Advanced Services to join our Rexel team in the Gulf Central Region - Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas or Louisiana.

Summary:
The Director of Region Advanced Services is responsible for the performance of the overall industrial solutions and services portfolio. The responsibilities of this role include: consistent and excellent project delivery, generating project scope, project management, people management, services product management, financial forecasting, and partner collaboration. Execution of these responsibilities is expected to drive profitably solutions and services growth for the region.

What You'll Do:

 

  • Lead and execute market strategy for construction services, technical services, supply chain services and LEAN consulting services
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver “Scope of Work” (SOW) for customer proposals
  • Negotiation of terms and conditions and identifying any insurance requirements as well as potential risks
  • Understand the customer's business objectives including safety for deliverables
  • Responsible for development of employee competency
  • Development and execution of multi-year business plan
  • Collaboration with sales account managers and business development managers to create account strategies to grow the industrial solutions and services business
  • Executive customer engagement
  • Act as subject matter expert in the education of sales team on value and content of solutions and services portfolio
  • Regular collaboration with multiple key partners on solutions and services portfolio, market needs and portfolio roadmap
  • Communicate remotely or in-person on-going customer success engagements and develop a cadence of recurring reviews with key customers
  • Technical and commercial development and direct management of delivery resources aligning with all regional safety and legal policies
  • Responsible for overall operational excellence and customer satisfaction around solutions and services portfolio and team
  • Ensure adequate resources are availability and utilization to meet current and future demands according to strategic business plan and changing market demands
  • Develop, lead, and mentor specialist team to drive consistent profitable growth
  • Collaborate with key suppliers to plan annual engagement, positioning Rexel as the supplier's preferred channel to market
  • Drive a disciplined selling process that starts with an annual plan, includes an accountability process to deliver results, and culminates with exceeding sales goals
  • Develop competency plans so resources can be successful in winning available market
  • Demonstrate commercial understanding of current and future technology segments, with specific technical acumen as needed to round out teams expertise
  • Establish appropriate development plans for each employee that they embrace and align their personal needs/desires, with that of the team and business. Appropriately addressing performance challenges
  • Create a culture focused on success and winning. Celebrate team and individual accomplishments
  • Present proposals to all levels of leadership and technical audiences
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What You'll Need

  • 7+ years of experience in solutions, services, project management, or budget control and optimization
  • 3+ years leading a services team successfully
  • High School or GED - Required
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience leading in operations management to include customer success for field service and training support
  • Demonstrated financial acumen
  • Proven leadership skills to motivate and influence direct and indirect reports to embrace new concepts and solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop technical talent
  • Self-motivated and self-managed towards objectives
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communications, organizational and written/verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Proven ability to manage multiple partner relationships while achieving target outcomes
  • Exposure to Industrial Control Systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, plant historian, motor control, motion control, etc. technology and applications
  • Experience in Operations Management for Field Service and Training Support
  • Financial Planning Experience
