Summary:
The Industrial Automation Network Engineer is responsible for the design, delivery, and support of Industrial Network services to enable customers to realize the Connected Enterprise by building a robust, reliable network to support their operations.
What You'll Do:
- Works directly with customers to deliver Assessments and Designs specific to industrial networks, cybersecurity, and virtualization solutions
- Perform 'hands-on' network and cybersecurity assessments
- Conduct internal and customer readouts to communicate current network/security health and identify prioritized recommendations to deliver a more secure network infrastructure
- Perform machine-level OEM and small to mid-End User plant-level Network Designs to provide the network details necessary to procure, install, and configure a network
- Perform configuration of small to medium-sized virtualization solutions (i.e. VersaVirtualInstallation –Rockwell Industrial Data Center)
- Install Rockwell Software, virtual appliances and thin clients
- Provide Technical Sales support specific to industrial network and cybersecurity services
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a network engineer, network administrator, or other related position
- Appropriate Network Engineering Certifications preferred. Examples include: CCENT, CCNA Routing and Switching/Wireless, CINS Cisco Industrial Networking Specialist, VCA, VCP, GICSP or equivalent
- 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related technology degree
- Ability to accurately articulate the requirements and priorities of both IT and OT stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communications, organizational and written/verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to influence and guide team members when required
- Exposure to IT and industrial control systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, plant historian, motor control, motion control, etc. technology and applications (Rockwell or comparable platforms)
- Preferred hands-on experience configuring IT equipment (Cisco, VMware, etc.)
- Preferred previous experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations
- Understanding of CPwE DIG (Converged Plantwide Ethernet Design and Implementation Guide) preferred
- Understanding of relevant ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NEC and NIST standards preferred
