Summary:
The Zone Manager is responsible for supporting the mission and strategy of the branches by providing leadership, motivation, direction and training to the branch team to serve business profitably.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for the business development of branches in geographical territory
  • Develop new customer growth plan, growing customers and SKUs
  • Meet or exceed total sales, net income and asset management targets
  • Responsible for account management and customer satisfaction, building and maintaining customer relations
  • Responsible for branch operations performance, collaborating with Functional Leaders to execute strategy. Manages owning inventory adjustments, inventory/AR/Rebates, P&L/GL analysis and Branch Scorecard
  • Build and maintain positive team culture
  • Train, supervise associates, set clear goals and expectations of team, track progress against goals, provide feedback and address performance problems and issues promptly through documented coaching sessions
  • Perform administrative people management functions to include timekeeping, staff training compliance, and performance reviews
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Required
  • Strong knowledge of electrical products, inventory control and warehouse operations
  • Skilled in selling products & services, negotiating sales, pricing strategies, and terms
  • Proven ability to manage P&L operation
  • Proven ability to gain others' support for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of wholesale electrical distribution industry
  • Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to drive decisions with influence
  • Ability to travel to branches and customer locations in the territory
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
