Richardson's UK operations encompass oat milling, malting, animal feed and ingredient processing. Operating under Richardson Oat Milling, Crisp Malt, EDME, and Micronized Food Products (MFP), Richardson supplies the domestic and international food, brewing, and distilling industries.
We currently have an opportunity for a LGV Driver at our Gt Ryburgh, Hempton. location.
Responsibilities:
Deliver products professionally, ensuring timely, damage-free delivery.
Load and secure freight properly to prevent movement during transport.
Maintain records in compliance with C&U Regulations, including tachograph and defect sheets.
Understand EU Drivers' Hours and Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations.
Keep vehicles and trailers clean and suitable for food product delivery.
Follow company procedures and remain polite and courteous to customers and colleagues.
Report accidents and safety-related defects immediately while prioritising personal and public safety.
Qualifications:
Hold relevant LGV and Driver CPC licences for company vehicles.
Possess a Digital Tacho card and basic mechanical knowledge.
Understand EU Drivers' Hours and Road Transport Regulations.
Exhibit strong communication skills.
Have good geographical knowledge of the UK.
Forklift licence is considered an asset.
