Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician at our Yorkton, SK location.
 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Full chemical analysis on all stages of oil processing from seed to refined, bleached and deodorized oils

  • ​Ensure products are being made according to documented internal Richardson and customer requirements

  • Providing release approval to pre-load and load oil products

  • Provide analysis for non-conforming products and feedback to production on required analysis

  • Verify incoming raw materials meet food safety quality requirements

  • Conduct retained sample collection and ensure samples are controlled for the required period of time

  • Recognize actual / potential food safety and quality issues

  • Conduct inspection and testing analysis on incoming raw materials, additional in-process and finished product

Qualifications:  

  • Degree or diploma in Food Science, Microbiology or Chemistry

  • 3 - 5 years previous experience in a food manufacturing environment

  • Familiar with GMP and HACCP

  • Excellent computer, written, documentation and verbal communication skills

  • Must be willing to work shifts and overtime
