We are hiring staff#willing to travel/work with clients in the Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties! Position Summary: The Therapeutic Mentor at River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) provides supportive mentoring and skill-building services to youth, working collaboratively with a therapeutic team to help clients achieve treatment goals. This role includes providing transportation to activities, supporting the development of life and social skills, maintaining accurate documentation, and engaging in regular consultation with clinical staff to ensure quality, culturally competent care. Key Responsibilities: Provide mentoring and support for young people. Work as part of a therapeutic team. Provide transportation to youths for a variety of activities Educate and support young people in practicing/learning the identified needs/skills (e.g. building social skills, developing impulse control, developing independent living skills).# Support and Maintain treatment plan goals Consult weekly with the Hub (clinician or coordinator). Develop lesson plans Maintain all progress notes for their case load (an average of 8-10 cases).# Clinical Documentation Qualifications: Required: Education Level /Years of Experience -#High School Diploma and/or equivalency and two years# experience working with identified population required Skills/Abilities -#Demonstrated experience using a computer and basic keyboarding skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, flexible (including schedule), and able to work as part of a team.# Licensing - Driver#s license and reliable vehicle required. Additional compensation for advanced education for qualifying positions.
