River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) is seeking a Direct Care/Program Staff Supervisor to oversee and support staff providing direct care to individuals in our scattered site low threshold housing program. This role will be critical in providing leadership, clinical supervision, and staff development while ensuring high-quality care for individuals, particularly those recovering from Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or experiencing homelessness. The supervisor will guide staff, maintain necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with agency goals and standards. Overview of Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Staff Supervision: Conduct interviews, train, and support staff for vacant Long-Term Housing (LTH) positions to ensure alignment with program goals. Clinical Supervision: Provide weekly clinical supervision to Housing Case Managers (HCMs), ensuring clinical standards are met. Training # Development: Coordinate and oversee staff training and development programs to enhance skills and ensure effective client support. Referral Management: Track and follow up on referrals, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate services. Direct Client Care: Provide direct care and support to individuals in the housing program, assisting them with navigating housing and recovery services. Client Development: Coordinate individualized client development projects to support housing and recovery goals. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in ESM (Electronic Service Management) and Carelogic systems. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures for documentation and client services. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or program director. Job Requirements and Qualifications: Education: Master#s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with populations affected by Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Experience working with homeless populations is preferred. Skills # Abilities: Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) required for effective communication with clients and staff. Strong interpersonal, crisis intervention, and organizational skills. Proficient in ESM and Carelogic systems for documentation and data tracking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to provide leadership, supervision, and training to staff.
