Summary

The Corporate Leave Specialist is responsible for managing and administering all aspects of associate leaves, including FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, Military Leave, and other time-off programs. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for associates, managers, and the HR team, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws while supporting the development of efficient leave processes and policies. 

In this role, you will

•    Manage the full leave of absence process from A to Z, guiding associates through their leave of absence claim – from initial request, communication, tracking, payments, return to work coordination, and closure.
•    Administer of all leave of absence programs (LOA/FMLA, STD/LTD, EML, Military Leave, etc.) in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. 
•    Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for associates, managers, and HR partners regarding leave-related questions, accommodations, and compliance.
•    Understands, interprets, and keeps abreast of relevant laws and regulations and maintains strong working knowledge of FMLA, LOA, and Time-Off guidelines to apply consistent application and ensure adherence to policies and legal compliance.
•    Partner with Field HR team to address attendance issues related to FMLA and/or Company Leaves, evaluating when and how various laws and policies apply..
•    Update workforce management system with LOA status and other information as needed.
•    Collaborate with IT and internal stakeholders to build and implement time-off programs.
•    Assist with the development and documentation of leave-related policies, guidelines, and training materials for HR and management team
•    Serve as a liaison between associate and third-party administrators to ensure seamless and supportive leave experience for associates.

What you bring to RNDC

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience where the required knowledge, skills and abilities have been acquired. Strong working knowledge of HRIS / workforce management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
