Summary

The Senior Compensation Analyst supports the design, analysis, and implementation of compensation programs that reinforce organizational structure, career progression, and pay equity. This role plays a key part in operationalizing the compensation strategy through data analysis, systems support, and job architecture standardization. The analyst will partner closely with HR and business stakeholders to ensure alignment across the HCM, compensation structures, and ongoing Joint Venture and M&A integrations.

In this role, you will
  • Conduct job evaluations and market pricing to support career architecture, leveling, and internal equity efforts across the enterprise.
  • Analyze and recommend changes to pay structures and salary bands, support the rationalization of legacy pay practices on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain and update job and compensation data within the HCM, ensuring accuracy and alignment within approved structures.
  • Support Joint Venture and M&A integration by evaluating incoming compensation programs and mapping them to existing frameworks and pay models.
  • Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to ensure pay decisions are consistent with internal guidelines and market competiveness
  • Prepare compensation dashboards, cost models, and reports to support budgeting, planning, and pay equity analysis
  • Participate in compensation survey submissions and apply insights to guide salary structure updates and market positioning
  • Collaborate with HR Technology and HR Shared Services to troubleshoot compensation-related issues and recommend system enhancements
  • Support the rollout of compensation programs and frameworks through data analysis, communications, and documentation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation analytics, tools, and governance, contributing to special projects and continuous improvement efforts
     
What you bring to RNDC
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's in HR, Finance, Business, or related field required; 4–6 years in compensation or total rewards, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong Excel, modeling, and data visualization; experience with compensation analysis, pay equity, and financial impact assessment.
  • Communication: Able to clearly present compensation data and insights to various audiences through reports, presentations, and conversations.
  • Reasoning: Skilled at identifying trends, evaluating data, and making sound, data-driven compensation decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in HRIS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday), compensation tools, job architecture, and statistical software.
  • Certifications: CCP certification or progress toward it preferred.
  • Physical & Work Environment: Primarily desk-based with light lifting (up to 10 lbs.); moderate noise; reasonable accommodations available.
  • Other Requirements: Up to 25% travel; experience with integrations, reorganizations, or large-scale compensation reviews is a plus.
