Description
Organization Overview
The ultimate objective of the work in my laboratory is to understand the cellular and molecular basis of vertebrate embryonic induction, with a special emphasis on germ layer and organ formation. Toward this aim,we perform comparative studies using both amphibian and mammalian model systems, including human embryonic stem cells.
Overview
The research assistant will work on a project correlating molecular behavioral phenotypes in a marmoset model of Huntington's Disease. They will use micropattern technology and other tissue culture techniques to establish HD pluripotent cell lines to model Huntington's Disease.
