Title: Clinical Research Associate I

FTE:

1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Takes a leadership role in the clinical research mission of the organization and Clinical Research Services (CRS) through the management of projects within the research regulatory requirements and careful adherence to the Code of Federal Regulations (Title 21) and guidelines set up by the International Committee for Harmonization for good clinical practices; takes a leadership role in one of the following areas: (1) the maintenance of research regulatory documents and the submissions of new studies, amendments, continuing reviews and all other study documents; (2) data collection and entry; (3) data management; or (4) study compliance; educates and mentors staff. The salary range for this position is $51,305- $68,615 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience

Certification Requirement
1. Current certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP); or
2. Current certification by the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA); or
3. Other comparable research-related certifications recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as appropriate for this title.
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in a health or science related field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time clinical research experience; or
2. Associate's degree in a health or science related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time clinical research experience.

NOTE:
1. Incumbents must obtain certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) or from other comparable research-related certifications recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as appropriate for this title  within one (1) year of appointment as a condition of continued employment.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
