Title: Digital Pathology Systems Specialist

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Pathology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Integrates pathology, information technology, and digital imaging to support diagnostic, research, and educational workflows. Responsible for the configuration, setup, and maintenance of digital pathology systems—including whole slide scanners, image management platforms, and visualization software—while ensuring seamless migration of imaging data into Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and other institutional IT systems. Oversees paraffin archive workflows and manages processes related to molecular testing. Starting salary is $78,126. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience1. Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or related field the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in digital pathology system implementation and management.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
