This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, self-motivated individual with a background in civil engineering to join a professional facilities management team at a world-renowned cancer treatment and research center in Buffalo, NY.

As a Facilities Engineer, you will gain hands on experience by working on site development plans, survey coordination, and annual condition assessments. Additionally, you will support by planning, managing and coordinating maintenance, flood remediation, and improvement projects to roofing and door systems, parking infrastructure, general construction, carpentry and locksmith services.

No technical job experience is necessary to succeed, just a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. The Facilities Engineer will have a dedicated professional engineer to assist and guide them throughout their job development. You will acquire design, planning, and construction skills essential to apply for the Engineer-In-Training and Professional Engineer exams as your experience grows. Career growth potential exists for candidates who can turn design concepts into actual improvements for our campus.

Candidates through their cover letter and resume should demonstrate experience in civil engineering related concepts or knowledge, using computer-aided drafting programs, documenting deficient conditions, creating cost estimates, preparing written reports, and reviewing construction drawings.

Starting salary is $78,126 Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; or
2. Associate's degree in Engineering or related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time related professional experience in: facilities management, or maintenance or operations and design, HVAC and plumbing design and specification; or electrical design, specification and project management.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
