About the Job:
Type: Full time/Permanent
Wage: $125,000 - $140,000 Annual Salary Based on Experience
Shifts: Monday - Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm - Must be Flexible due to travel/startup implementation
Location: Remote - Toronto, ON
Travel: 70-80 percent Travel - This role may require travel to the US

Summary
Ensures the successful launch of new customer warehouses. Influences, negotiates and leads technology alternative evaluations and implementations within both the Business and Technology sectors.
Essential Functions
- Training New Staff: Go-to person for training all new staff during Ryder's “Start Up” phase. This involves imparting knowledge on systems, operational and systematic processes and documentation standards specific to the warehouse environment.
- On-Site Training: Before each warehouse goes live, travel to the site for an 8-week period. During this time, train leadership (20+ individuals) on the intricacies of the new warehouse setup, following the “Ryder Way.” You will also host trainings for the broader warehouse staff (200-300 people) using industry wide and approved Ryder processes and software
- On-Site Immersion: An understanding of warehouse nuances, layout, and workflow. During these 8-week stints, you'll become the go-to expert. This includes WMS systems, processes, and documentation standards. The position will be troubleshooting training and system related issues to escalate accordingly to ensure a resolution
- Leadership Training: Guide the leadership team through the intricacies of WMS systems, using operational processes and workflows.
- Broad Staff Engagement: Engage with the broader warehouse staff. Ensure that all team members have a high level of functionality of their responsibilities in warehouse operations.
- Project Management: Responsible for task management, establishing deliverables, documenting progress, tracking milestones, and collaborating/communicating seamlessly
- Documentation and Reporting: Develop standard work breakdowns, quick reference guides, end of day reports and deliverables ensuring clarity and effectiveness. Act as an adult education leader.

Skills and Abilities
- Comfortable speaking to and training large groups of management and hourly employees confident in their presentation skills and ability to engage as an educator, Required

- Comfortable with heavy travel, will be on the road for 8 weeks at a time, Required

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor's degree required Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or minimum of 8 years relevant work experience, Required
- 5 years or more in related experience in Project Management, Required
- 5 years or more in professional experience as an adult educator, trainer, or related role, Required
- Strong fundamental understanding of Warehouse Operations – comfortable working in a warehouse setting across multiple shifts Advanced, Required
- Strong experience with WMS systems, hands on technical experience at the end user level Intermediate, Required
- Understand the modern technology landscape such AI and data collection activities that will be utilized to benefit the project or projects Intermediate, Required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification & , Preferred, Upon Hire
- & Understanding of adult education principles, T3 Educator Certification, Preferred, Upon Hire
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt & , Preferred, Upon Hire
