SAIC is seeking an Administrative Assistant on the Horizon 2 contract, based in El Segundo, CA. This position supports a System Program Office within the Space Systems Command's Space Combat Power Program Executive Office. Your primary responsibilities will involve supporting a program manager and the associated office that manages procurement activities that will deliver warfighter capability.
In this role, you will interact and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (program managers, other administrative support staff, executive staff, and external offices, etc), coordinate schedules, meetings and travel for key office personnel, as well as help with office management functions such as data management and on/off-boarding of personnel.
General expectations of job performance:
- Provide general administrative, clerical, and/or secretarial support
- Perform routine and non-routine tasks including coordinating office/program inspections, maintaining calendars, and electronic file management
- Responsible for scheduling and arranging meetings, researching and securing requested information, compiling and proofing of various reports and studies
- Transcribe confidential or technical information, take and distribute meeting minutes, order supplies, answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, manage customer travel, and other office administrative duties as required
- Backfilling other support staff positions, requiring knowledge of those positions tasks, responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience with:
- Knowledge in specialized office management and administrative functions
- Experience must include proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience must include working for/with high-grade/executive level customers
Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable)
Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a U.S. Government program office
- Experience with collaboration/project management tools such as Power BI, JIRA or Confluence
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
