SAIC is seeking an experienced Classification Management Security Specialist to support our Customer's Office of Security. The selected candidate will operate in a dynamic security environment, providing classification management and security support across Customer programs and operations.
Note: Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance to be considered. Selected candidates may be eligible for expedited polygraph processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support security programs and operations by monitoring activities, analyzing metrics, maintaining records, and providing status reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Customer security offices, DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), and contractor personnel to ensure compliance with security requirements.
- Provide classification management expertise, including guidance on classification, marking, handling, dissemination, and release of classified information.
- Develop, update, and disseminate security policies, procedures, guidance, and training materials.
- Assist stakeholders in implementing classification management processes for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and collateral information.
- Conduct security inspections, assistance visits, risk assessments, and security violation reviews; prepare impact statements and recommendations as required.
- Manage project milestones, lifecycle plans, and security documentation.
- Receive, control, safeguard, and coordinate the transfer of SCI, collateral, SAP, CAP, ACCM, RD, CNWDI, and Foreign Government Information (FGI) in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare classified visit requests, correspondence, briefings, reports, and other security-related communications.
- Provide technical security expertise across personnel, physical, industrial, information, and operations security disciplines.
- Analyze complex security issues and recommend solutions consistent with DoD and IC policies and requirements.
- Maintain engagement with ODNI and IC classification management communities to stay current on policy, guidance, and best practices.
- Support training initiatives, compliance efforts, and responses to agency taskings related to classification management and information security.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI is REQUIRED.
- Ability to obtain a polygraph.
- Minimum 10 years of experience applying Executive Orders 12333, 13526, and 13556; Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) 703 and 710; and DoD Manual 5200.01 requirements related to classified national security information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and information security.
- Demonstrated experience applying the Intelligence Community Markings System Register and Manual.
