SAIC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a comprehensive technical modernization effort supporting DIA's intelligence mission in the Washington, DC and surrounding areas. This effort focuses on advancing big data analytics, AI/ML capabilities, and cloud-based solutions to enhance military intelligence processing and decision-making. 

Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by fall 2025.

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as the assistant lead, manager, and administrator for the effort
  • Direct efforts of cross-competency teams, including contractors at multiple locations, and shall serve as the secondary interface with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and project issues
  • Backfill requirements of the PM, overseeing contractor personnel project operations by developing procedures; planning and directing execution of the contractual, technical, multi-disciplinary engineering, programming, maintenance, and administrative support effort; and monitoring and reporting progress

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelors and 15 years or more experience; Masters and 13 years or more experience; PhD and 10 years or more experience
  • 5 years of Project Management experience managing complex projects of a similar scope and complexity
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects utilizing non-traditional program management methodologies (i.e., Agile) in a big data environment
  • An active PMI, PMP, DAWIA III, or FAC P/PM Certification
  • Experience with major IT systems integration efforts

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Experience in an IC, military, or other Government environment performing in a related subject area (e.g., project management, engineering, computer science, etc.)

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
