Description
The Distribution and Collection Analyst will primarily be responsible for accurately submitting invoices into government and commercial portals for payment. The Analyst will provide support to the collections team during non-billing weeks by conducting follow-up communications with customer, preparing collections reports and updating collections module with notes.
This position can be worked 100% remote across the US.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a shared mailbox with other distribution analysts
- Accurately submit invoices into various customer portals for payment.
- Update internal tools with submission information and status changes.
- Interacting with functional departments to resolve submission issues.
- Meeting critical deadlines and achieving departmental goals and objectives.
- Assist the billing team by pulling reports and preparing non complex bills.
- Assist the collection team with customer follow ups, updating collection notes and preparing reports for the collection team.
- Additional duties, as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Degree and two (2) years or more related experience. Higher level degrees may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
- Experience in data entry and tracking.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, which will require a flexible schedule.
- Must have high attention to detail; accuracy is critical to this position
- The ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Ability to research.
- Experience in billing, finance and invoicing.
