SAIC has new opportunities to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Tech Center in Atlantic City, NJ! These positions are 100% onsite and may require some travel to other airports within the United States.
Job Responsibilities may include:
- Provide support to Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) Second Level Engineering.
- Prepare crates - pack supplies and equipment for site installs.
- Configure equipment.
- Build and test cables (serial and Ethernet).
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree and 5+ years experience; may accept additional experience or degrees.
- Knowledge of computer hardware comparable to Comp TIA A+ certification.
- Experience with cable fabrication (serial and Ethernet).
- Skilled in using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with inventory management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language.
- Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
- Proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as, have the ability to identify and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of system investments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Required Clearance:
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Public Trust.
