SAIC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to support Hardware in the Loop – Aviation (HWIL-A) to analyze, design, and develop Interactive Multimedia Instruction and Serious Games with levels of interactivity ranging from Levels 2-4 in accordance with the Army Virtual Learning Environment.
NOTE: This position is fully remote. Our team is based in Huntsville, AL.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Analyzing training needs and developing solutions to address them.
- Providing consultation and recommendations to customers on innovative training solutions as well as on effective and relevant curriculum development.
- Creating asynchronous and synchronous instruction designed for a distributed immersive learning environment.
- Working with instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and multimedia developers to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate distributed learning solutions.
- Creating storyboards, scripts, scenario-based instruction, and other advanced learning strategies to meet the needs of learners.
- Providing expertise in the creation of processes, and implementation of distributed learning.
- Performing the actual detailed development of course materials or courseware, as well as product testing, and maintenance.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's and three (3)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge and understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy.
- Experience with curriculum design/development and learning solutions.
- Experience collecting, compiling, analyzing and synthesizing learner/customer feedback.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 suite applications.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- No clearance required to start, but must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Must be a current US Citizen.
