SAIC is looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our Defense & Civilian Sector in support of the Federal Aviation Administration Integrated Service Center (FAA ISC). SAIC leads the way to provide customer-centric IT Service Management (ITSM) focused on improving service, and leveraging processes and strategies with an emphasis on timely IT services and support.

Candidates will be a key part of a team of IT professionals who provide IT Asset Management (ITAM) support for the FAA.  This role can be worked remotely from anywhere WITHIN the US.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily and long-term asset management of IT computer hardware within the organization
  • Accurately manage and maintain IT Asset Management (ITAM) databases and records
  • Ensure quality control for all data collected and recorded
  • Assist with developing and maintaining processes, policies, and standards related to ITAM across the organization.
  • Conduct research and analysis across multiple ITAM databases to identify and track IT assets
  • Communicate directly with customers and/or business stakeholders in relation to IT assets
  • Update incidents and tasks through the ServiceNow ITSM Tool

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline and two (2) years related experience; 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must have the ability to obtain and hold a Public Trust clearance. Citizenship Required
  • Ability to obtain an HDI-DAST certification within 60 days

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, IF statements, data validation, etc.)    
  • Experience with Federal Government asset management practices 
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Detailed oriented

 

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
