SAIC is seeking a JAMS Technical Program Principal to support the strategic and operational planning, coordination, and execution of Expendable Countermeasure Prototype Design Packages in Crane, Indiana. This role involves advising government stakeholders on best practices, operational strategies, and innovative solutions to enhance mission success. The Technical expert will work closely with both government personnel and contractors, utilizing a deep understanding of Army, Navy, and Air Force program documentation for new countermeasures prototypes and associated program requirements.
The JAMS Technical Program Principal will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Provide direct engineering support to the Expendables Countermeasures Program for documentation to support new Requirements for acquisition elements
- Provide a gap analysis, assess existing technical documentation, and develop new documentation to define and support new program elements, and make recommendations for improvements
- Create recommended acquisition strategies for effective operations, including production, engineering, and logistics considerations
- Define the design configuration, performance and procedures required for satisfactory performance
- Develop technical data such as models, drawings, software source code, and functional description prototype designs
- Develop and conduct training programs and simulations
- Recommend and support implementation of new technologies
- Design and develop new test systems, including test plans, procedures, objectives, and evaluation methods
- Work with military leaders and stakeholders; prepare reports and presentations
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree and eighteen (18) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree
Required Clearance:
- Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required
Required Skills:
- Experience as military or civilian in progressively responsible command and staff positions
- Experience with service or joint doctrine, to include maneuver, maneuver support, fires, intelligence, signal, or sustainment operations
- Knowledge of military planning and requirements generation processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
