SAIC is seeking a Junior Software Integrator to join our growing team in North Charleston, SC. Work will be mostly on site at our customer facility in Charleston, SC. The role may require minimal (<10%) travel to customer sites.
The Junior Software Integrator will be responsible for:
- Performing Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for the MADIS and CAC2S software applications.
- Perform system rebuilds, custom router and switch configuration.
- Prepare systems for operation, including system software loading and final system operational checks.
- Install software patches and updates.
- Maintain network infrastructure for C2 and communications systems.
- Working independently or as a member of a team.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and zero (0) years' experience; two (2) or more years of experience will be considered in lieu of Degree
- Proficient in software/ operating system installation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a position of trust
Desired Skills:
- Experience in integration and/or verification and validation.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management.
- Knowledge of Network Infrastructure design.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+
- VMware Certified Professional
