SAIC is seeking a Sr. Logistics Analyst for a new Air Force contract out of JBSA Randolph (San Antonio, TX). This is an onsite position with no opportunity for remote work.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Oversees the ordering, storing, receiving and distributing processes of products and supplies. Main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation.
- Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
- Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
- Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes. Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation and logistics plans.
- Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Must be able to obtain CAC card and access to base and be US Citizen.
