SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Conduct acquisition logistics planning, analysis, and documentation to support the procurement, integration, and sustainment of P-8-related systems and subsystems per DoD regulations and policies.
- Develop and manage Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), ensuring alignment with program goals and regulatory requirements (e.g., DoD 5000 series and SECNAV instructions).
- Provide subject matter expertise for the development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements, including maintenance planning, technical data development, training, manpower, facilities, and supply support.
- Contribute to sustainment strategies, including Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) initiatives to ensure optimized support solutions.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) requirements are integrated into system designs and acquisition strategies.
- Support the development and review of acquisition documentation, proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and specifications to ensure logistics and sustainment requirements are clearly defined.
- Evaluate and coordinate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) to ensure logistics considerations are addressed in system modifications.
- Conduct and document Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) to drive lifecycle cost reductions and streamline sustainment approaches.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience
Interim security clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Testing, troubleshooting experience
Experience evaluating and coordinating Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
