We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Market Analyst to support day-to-day operations for a Market Leader and collaborate across the Growth Team. This role is critical to enabling effective operations, driving cross-functional coordination, and strengthening our market presence. The Analyst will play a central role in advancing the market initiatives and supporting growth objectives.
The ideal candidate brings experience operating in a fast-paced environment, familiarity with government contracting, and working knowledge of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting National Security Market Operations
Enable effective day-to-day operations for the Market Leader by managing priorities, coordination, and follow-through.
Support leadership decision-making through preparation of strategic briefs, industry and competitive research, and facilitation of meetings and data calls.
Maintain and curate core market materials, including organizational charts, strategic presentations, and market data sourced internally and externally.
Develop and oversee management reporting and dashboards, including financial and operational views, to increase transparency and insight.
Serve as a market operations enabler by standing up and optimizing collaboration tools, workflows, and reporting capabilities across the team.
Drive adoption of new tools and processes through training, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
Support execution of a growth strategy by tracking customer engagement activity and identifying emerging opportunities.
Provide operational rigor to business development efforts through data analysis.
Enable effective collaboration across internal teams, partners, and vendors through structured reporting, data calls, and coordination.
Support client engagement activities, including events, marketing coordination, and opportunity reviews.
Support strategic planning activities by developing executive-ready market reviews and planning materials.
Build and maintain strategic planning decks and templates that align market priorities.
Synthesize internal and external data into clear insights to inform leadership decision-making and long-term planning.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience; Masters (preferred) and 1+ year of related experience.
US Citizenship.
- Relevant experience in Homeland Security, or a related government contracting environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface across senior leadership.
- A strong understanding of AI tools and cutting-edge technologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerBI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strategic, results-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Must be local to the Reston office and onsite as needed with flexibility to schedules and opportunity needs.
