Seeking a self-motivated and efficient problem solver to perform the Material Expeditor role in North Charleston, SC. 

Job responsibilities (include but are not limited to) :

• Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between warehouse and production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities: compiles and interprets inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority.  
• Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas, using mobile stair platform, handcart, pallet jack, or forklift.  
• Records and maintains perpetual inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed, through use of computer and CMPRo database.  
• Prepares and ships material to customer locations.  May examine material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies, such as damaged or unmarked parts. Submits change requests in database when appropriate.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

• High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years related experience.  
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). 

• Candidate must be a US Citizen. and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
