SAIC is looking for a Mission Integration Exercise Principal (SETA) to play a role in SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS, located in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a major SETA program supporting the National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) in acquiring systems across their entire life cycle. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required for this position.
As the Mission Integration Exercise Principal, you will provide subject matter expertise and analyses for capability development, gap analysis, and experiment planning and execution. The focus of support is ensuring that requirements align with overall strategy for building the Future Ground Architecture 3.0.
Job Responsibilities to include:
- Support technical and programmatic interchanges; identify and resolve issues; and provide engineering and technical advice to the customer to achieve innovative capabilities for overhead reconnaissance
- Collect, process, analyze, maintain, and distribute lessons learned and best practices from joint exercise events to enhance NRO program effectiveness
- Assist in the identification of shortfalls or enhancements of programs within the NRO joint wargames and contingency planning programs that were identified during program reviews
- Participate in planning conferences for joint exercise programs to document effectiveness of mitigation efforts, capability priorities are integrated, and best practices and lessons learned incorporated
- Aggregate written reports after each subject exercise in the form of a joint Lessons Leaned document with specifics of how mitigation was addressed
- Participate and contribute to Joint planning and mitigation working groups. Submit notes and recommendations from those meetings to NRO Leadership
- Coordinate with government personnel when determining information collection requirements and identifying specific tasks to be analyzed.
- Partner with the experiment/exercise support team and customers, including other military agencies, industrial partners, and educational institutions as appropriate to assist in facilitating the planning and execution of experiments efforts.
- Provide doctrinal expertise across Warfighting Functions (WfFs), in support of analyses.
- Observe experiments and simulation exercise demonstrations across multiple locations within CONUS.
- Collect, assemble, and analyze information inputs to evaluate the completion of mission tasks and achievement of GED objectives.
- Develop briefings and documentation material for Program / Project Manager's engagements, including developing technical roadmaps and the acquisition strategies/documentation to implement them.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Active Top-Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
- Strong knowledge/experience of software architectures, spacecraft ground systems and processes for intelligence mission management, collection, and analysis
- Demonstrated experience in managing technical and schedule performance, internal/external interfaces, and risks
- Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments
- Strong oral and written communications to support interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, external stakeholders, and development contractors at all levels on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between all organizations within a high-tempo environment
- Experience with intelligence collection management, particularly overhead SIGINT mission management a PLUS!
