SAIC is seeking an experienced Navy officer with expertise in shipboard combat systems to work as a Technical Integrator for distributed Navy war games and other training based out of San Diego, CA.
As a Technical Integrator, you will bring together disparate combat systems, training systems, networks, and other C2 systems into a coherent architecture to support advanced, distributed, high-end fleet training exercises. This position requires expertise in AEGIS and/or SSDS Combat Systems training configuration, operation, maintenance and management. This position may require occasional travel in support of fleet training planning conferences. Main location is San Diego, CA.
Position is contingent upon contract award, expected Summer 2024.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- Secret level security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree, no specific discipline and ten (10) years of experience
- Minimum of six (6) years of technical management experience as a Naval Officer or Chief Petty Officer or equivalent supervising combat system configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair
- Must have planning experience with Squadron, Strike Group, Fleet, or Major Training Command, Systems Testing Command or similar military organization
- Must have some experience operating a C5I system in synthetic training or equivalent complex architecture
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
