SAIC's Horizon program is seeking an Office and Customer Service Manager to support the U.S. Space Forces mission of delivering warfighter capability.  This position is available in El Segundo, California

The Horizon program supports Government weapon systems program offices with subject matter experts that have a background with the Department of Defense major capability acquisition process. Horizon team members provide systems acquisitions and program management support on various capability development programs that are intended to protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. Our team is at the forefront of advising and assisting the Government throughout the full lifecycle of systems acquisition processes that enable, in most instances, rapid fielding to meet warfighter needs.  The position may require some off-hours support. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the facility's operation. You will also be the main customer point of contact for requests for support. 

Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Interface with US Government and contractor personnel to provide top-notch support with a focus on Office Management and Facility Operations in support of National Security
  • Manage resource conflicts and all other types of variables impacting existing operations and future planning
  • Coordinate contractor and vendor work related to renovations as well as maintenance
  • Provide escort to visitors
  • Maintain and stock cafe and office supplies
  • Maintain conference room schedules
  • Schedule and assist with setting up special events (e.g., catering, A/V, etc.)
  • Coordinate VIP and valet parking operations
  • Assist with Tier 1 IT support to include customer assistance with real-time trouble shooting of the facility's Audio-Visual capabilities to ensure they are functional for meetings and other customer events
  • Reception related duties will include:
  • Greet visitors
  • Receive and distribute mail deliveries
  • Generate procedures and maintaining accountability of visitor badges
  • Monitor facility via video monitoring station 

Qualifications

This is you:

  • Bachelor's and six years or more of related experience that includes:
    • Communication to senior level leaders, internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
    • MS Office suite and other tools (e.g., TEAMS. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and PDF applications)
    • Working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
    • Facility functions as well as physical security
  • Must be willing to be submitted for a security background investigation (T5), and be successfully adjudicated for SCI eligibility
  • Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and other DoD security compartments; consent to a Polygraph examination

You will wow us even more if you have these skills:

  • Familiarity with communication, collaboration, floorplan and, or scheduling tools such as the MS Suite of tools to include Teams, Project, Visio, and or other equivalent applications that will assist with the operations of a facility as well as future planning efforts to include capturing requirements, budget planning, staffing, etc.
  • Experience in Event Planning and catering

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
