SAIC is seeking an Operations Research Manager to act as a Warfighter Integration Manager for the company. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of USAF Command & Control (C2) processes, tools, and technologies, along with hands-on experience in planning and implementing operational strategies that align with mission objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the interface with mission partners and stakeholders to understand warfighting gaps and needs and translate into product vision and goals.
- Experience working with joint and service component experts to deliver data integration for warfighter utilization.
- Work with a cross-functional team as prototypes are developed, to ensure that the product meets warfighter requirements.
- Work in an agile environment, and act as a liaison between stakeholders, customers, and developers/engineers.
- Plan, deconflict, and execute stakeholder engagements across 3-5 projects throughout all phases of execution.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to a diverse team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a team strategy based on customer requirements and direction.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and 15 years or more of USAF tactical, operational and staff experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing projects related to Air Force Research, Development, Test and Evaluation.
- Secret security clearance eligibility
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working in an AF acquisition or Intelligence Community project management position leading integrated teams consisting of engineers, analysts, and project management personnel.
- Three or more years' experience in R&D or rapid acquisition development projects.
- Experience integrating projects.
- Experience providing successful project transition (from prototype to sustainment).
- Experience in deployed environments
- TS/SCI eligibility highly desired
