SAIC is currently seeking a motivated Oracle Database Developer to join our talented team. This role will require strong skills in SQL (bulk collection, windowing functions, analytical SQL) and comfortability with design/development of relational databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure performance efficiency.
- Perform query tuning and database performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and data processing.
- Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance issues.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
- Work on database design, indexing strategies, and partitioning techniques.
- Participate in code reviews, system testing, and deployment processes.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of database experience.
- Must have an interim secret clearance
- Oracle Certified Foundations Associate/Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate Certification strongly desired
- Strong understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) to query, manipulate, and update data within databases.
- Ability to design and implement database structures (schemas) to efficiently store and access data.
- Ability to identify and address data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
